A two – storey hotel located in the front – sea area of Drimadh, Albania. A project realised according to the principles of bio – architecture entirely in timber. The main structure is made of glulam timber and the walls according to our timber frame system including thermal and acoustic insulation. The complete structure was realised in a record time of about 5 ½ weeks. The building with a total surface area of 706 m² and a height of 8 meters is the most important project of hotels made entirely of timber on national territory, growing even more awareness of the use of glulam timber, prefabricated panels or panels in cross laminated timber (CLT) can solve ever-more important design requirements such as mechanical strength, fire resistance, sustainability, construction speed, energy containment and above all certainty of the cost of construction.
